About Me

My photo
I'm a single mother, never married. Professionally, I am an academic advisor at the University of Northern Iowa. Personally, I enjoy going places and doing things with my daughter, Bailey. I'm also a personal advocate for the March of Dimes.

Time Gets Away From Ya

Realizing it's been almost 3 months since my end of the year blog post, some of you may be wondering if I'm still blogging.  January and February tend to be a little quieter months for us, but here is a 3 month recap.

It may seem strange to talk about Christmas in March, but in keeping with past blogs, I thought I'd share some of the fun family photos captured at Seegers Family Christmas 2011.

Fast forward to March...
The weekend of March 9-11 was a busy one.  Bailey's school held it's annual school carnival.  Bailey had a lot of fun at the school salon getting pink and green highlights, along with a pink heart drawn on her face and hot pink nails.

The annual Mount Pleasant School Art Show was also that weekend.  For the third year in a row Bailey had one of her art projects selected for the show.

Hopefully it won't be so long until I can blog about Bailey's 11th birthday (tomorrow) and our 7th March for Babies walk (April 14) as well as anything else that happens along the way.
